"One year ago, individuals in our area had limited options when they needed therapy relating to the spine," says Erick Drake, DPT, who is a therapist at Ephraim McDowell Spine Physical Therapy. "Then, our facility opened . . . providing our community with a local option to treat their back and neck conditions."
Since opening in July 2009, the facility has treated more than 1500 individuals from Boyle and surrounding counties.
Ephraim McDowell Spine Physical Therapy treats many issues relating to the spine and neck including degenerative disc disease, chronic/acute low back pain, numbness/tingling in the arms or legs, spinal stenosis, herniated or bulging discs, sprain or strain, assisting with post-surgical recovery, whiplash/motor vehicle accident injuries, headaches, pregnancy-related low back pain and sacroiliac or pelvic dysfunction.
