About Us
Ephraim McDowell Health is an integrated
healthcare delivery system that serves more than 113,000
residents from six counties in central Kentucky. At
the core of the system is
Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, a 222-bed,
not-for-profit hospital that was established 120 years
ago. The Ephraim McDowell Health system also includes Ephraim McDowell Fort
Logan Hospital in neighboring Lincoln County (Stanford).

McDowell Wellness Center
Physical fitness and rehabilitation center that provides
the latest in fitness equipment, an aerobics studio,
classrooms, and a six-lane indoor pool.

Located in Boyle, Mercer, Garrard, Casey, Washington,
and Lincoln counties, these facilities offer convenient
access to family medical care, including on-site laboratory
and X-ray services.

Outpatient
Rehabilitation Services
Provided through McDowell Wellness Center, Ephraim McDowell Spine Physical Therapy and Kids Can Do Pediatric Therapy Center in Danville and Lincoln Physical Therapy in Stanford.

Children's learning and development center that provides
age-specific programming to children from six weeks to
10 years of age.

Central Kentucky Cancer Program
A comprehensive resource for cancer prevention, education,
cancer treatment options and support groups.

Ephraim McDowell Health Care Foundation
Established in 1992, is responsible for fund-raising
and implementing new and enhanced services. The Foundation's
total assets exceed $2.5 million.

Occupational health and mammography services, which
includes a mobile mammography van that travels to corporate
and community sites in Boyle and surrounding counties. |

McDowell Diagnostic Center
This outpatient facility with laboratory, mammography
and X-ray services (including Open MRI) also offers screenings
for occupational health-related situations. |

A network of hospitals and physician providers that contract
directly with area industries to keep medical care local
with the most efficient use of monies.
